Ive been camping for years now; I usually go by van but never went too far away. Now Im about to cross the distance of about 2000km and Im thinking of getting a plane. Im only afraid I wont be able to take all the necessities with me; you know the rules of most companies. Whats your suggestion?

I usually go camping by my car, with some friends and those trips are the best. You dont have to worry about many things, time of departure and arrival, luggage, things you mustnt bring into the plane, all those checking... Going by plane can be such a drag, especially concerning weight of the luggage. If you can afford it, you can buy some of those light weighing gear. I heard that the total weight of the camping gear can be twice less than of the usual one. Unfortunately, I cant tell you anything about its quality since I dont have one. Finally, you can join us, were planning trip to Italy Wink
