| Can you tell me what area in Chicago is best for living with small kids? You see, in the neighborhood where we reside presently, have been some unpleasant goings-on and I’d like to make sure my kids grow up in a respectable neighborhood safe from all those things that can make them go astray. So, we want to sell our house and move somewhere better. Any ideas? |

| All I know is that you should keep away from the west side because I’ve heard that that is the part of the city where crime flourishes. If I were you I’d either move to the suburbs where you know that everything is much safer and less dangerous that in the city itself. I know that many people have that resistance towards leaving the city and moving to the suburbs. It seems to them as if they’re going to live in a village, but they get used to it and I think, that feel better. So, that’s my advice. But if you still insist on the life in the city, move to the northern part of the city which is the place where the greatest number of cultural institutions and art galleries is. |
