How many days for Chile/Argentina trip?

My girlfriend is of Argentinean descent and we are going there to see some relatives. Neither one of us has ever been there so we do not know how to organize the trip. We will stay at her relatives’ for a couple of days but we intend to see the country as well as Chile. Can someone suggest how many days to leave for Chile/Argentina trip?

Well, it depends on how many days of vacation you have. I would suggest minimum of two weeks. Both countries are really beautiful and have a lot to offer. You will have to change your hotels frequently to be able to see at least a part of the things to see there. My sister-in-law has just returned from such trip and she can’t stop talking about it (she can’t stop talking anyway!). Seriously, she was delighted with both countries and is already planning to go there again in some six months.
