Is Playa del Carmen better than cozumel for honeymoon?

My father-in-law is paying for our honeymoon while I get to choose the place to go and stay (talking about fair play in family!). I have set my eyes on Playa del Carmen and cozumel. I can’t make up my mind. Is Playa del Carmen better than cozumel for honeymoon?

It is really a tough one. I see many honeymooners there so I guess that both of the places must be good for them. Cozumel is famous for honeymooners but then again so is Playa del Carmen. If you decide to go there you should check out Secrets Capri hotel. My niece spent her honeymoon there. She was delighted with everything (especially with her husband!). Joke aside; it is a good hotel that can make your honeymoon even better.
