Hi! I’m in New York for the first time and I plan to finish my stay by visiting Manhattan. Since I don’t have very much luggage, I can have a walk and visit “zero point” and various other attractions of this wonderful neighborhood. I plan to go to JFK and catch my plan directly from Manhattan. How far are those two locations and how to get to the airport as soon as possible?

I don’t know whether this will be a consolation, but those two spots are ‘only’ 15 miles from each other. But hey, it’s New York and it’s not a big deal. There are various means of transportation that you can use to get from Manhattan to JFK. As usually, a cab is the most expensive, but since you’re in New York for the first time, maybe it’s a good idea to have a ride in a famous Yellow Cab. It would be a shame to visit New York and not have a single ride. It is significantly more expensive than, for example, Air Train where you would pay only two bucks for a ride. But who knows when you’ll be in NYC next time. So, consider this Yellow Cab ride a part of visiting attractions.
