Humanitarian project volunteer in Togo ... Anyone?

I am about to become a part of an humanitarian project in Togo so I was thinking to ask if there is anyone that was interested in something like that so that could tell me what are the experiences like from there? In fact I am interesting actually how safe it is for me to go there alone for it is not like I met anyone from this humanitarian project volunteer program in Togo.

I have heard about many of those humanitarian project volunteer program involving all parts or better main towns of Nigeria. Anyway I have been active fro a short period of time in the same sort of humanitarian project volunteer in Lome also in Nigeria and we also were connected with Togo-we worked on improvement of the economic state there and basically my experience was ok but still I suggest you better check this all out first for I am positive that there are many volunteer projects there but some of them also takes a high risk of being kidnapped for example –that happens very often lately there so some step precautions are needed before reaching Togo anyway.
