Hello! I’ve rented a car and I’m heading to Venice tomorrow. That’s where I plan to end my Italian visit. I’ve spent a couple days in Tuscany and in Rome, and I’m looking forward to visiting Venice now. Can you tell me where to leave my car when I get there? I mean, I won’t be using it too much, right?
Right! That’s why I don’t see any reason for traveling there by car when you can take a plane or train in spare yourself some time and worrying about car parks. I really don’t see why anybody would go to the city built on canals by car. You won’t be able to ride it anyway, and maybe there are not enough safe spots for parking it. Maybe you should reconsider you travel plan and switch to one of the options that I recommended you. I mean, you’re going to ride on gondolas and boats and a car is completely redundant means of transportation. Maybe if that was a business trip it would be a good idea to travel by car, but this way it’s not.
