Is there any transport between Lilongwe and Blantyre? I am suppose to go to Malawi and will spent 2 weeks there in Lilongwe but afterwards I am planning on visiting some cousins in Blantyre and I first thought maybe to hire a car or to take a bus up to Blantyre but than I saw the map and I figured out that the distance is too long for me and I don't have that much time to waist. Anyway I would prefer now going there by plane if there is any transport between Lilongwe and Blantyre.

I don't think you will be having any trouble reaching Blantyre for I am sure there are several flights between Lilongwe and Blantyre and the flight takes about 40 minutes. Anyway you may hire a car there in Blantyre and visit an interesting town Zomba near the Lake Chilwa. Anyway the flights between Lilongwe and Blantyre and opposite are really very frequent and it is not problem booking a ticket at all.
