Do you drink tap or bottled water in Paris?

Hello, there. I am an exchange student from Italy. I have just been approved a research in Paris. Ill have to spend there at least four months, but maybe even more. The thing that concerns me is whether Parisians drink tap or bottled water. What is the situation considering this matter in Paris?

Hello, there. Well your question is very popular in Paris. The surveys show that more than a half of Parisians drink bottled water. The leading bottled water company, Crystaline is even convincing people not to drink tap water. The city officials were really mad by this campaign. Thats why they have hired famous designers to design a bottle where they would put tap water. The government claims that tap water is safe enough to drink. So, I don't know what to say to you. But I'm sure that it is marketing campaign by Crystaline that made people be afraid of tap water. But who can give his own health to check whether it is true or not?
