| As you probably know Lugano is pretty cold during most of the year. It is also not too popular swimming destination in summer either. There are people who swim in very cold, or even icy waters, but if you are a regular tourist, you really would not want to go into the lake even when the temperature outside is very high. However, near the Lugano it is never too high. There are very nice heated indoor pools that will be an excellent substitution for the lake, so you will not be sorry you did not swim. It simply is too cold for the average person. |
