April in Spain, good idea?

Hello. I am going to have to go on holiday in April as I am currently temping. I expect to get offered a permanent contract in two months time. This means I wont be able to take annual leave until April. Anyway, it is nice to start planning the holiday already! I was thinking about going to Spain, probably with my sister who speaks Spanish. Is that a good idea?

Yes, why not? You dont mention that you plan on going to any specific city, and I do want to tell you that the weather varies greatly depending on where in Spain you are. Can I be so free to suggest that you go to Barcelona? This is a wonderful place and it will be sunny in April. But at that time there will not be too many tourists, so you will get more of a feel of what it is really like.
