Hello. I’ll be in Canada this winter trying to see as more as I can. And since I’m coming from USA I’m naturally interested to know what can I bring home with me and is there a tax refund for visitor’s shopping in Canada? Can you help me, please. Thanks a lot for all your answers, I’ll appreciate your efforts.

I’m not quite sure if I can be of any help, but I think there are two types of taxes. PST – Provincial Sales Tax and GST – Goods and Services Tax. This GST tax is 7 % and you can of course apply for refund, if you keep original receipts. The best thing is to apply in duty free shops on the border.
