I would like to visit Tasmania with my friends. I heard many people talking about it and they all have nice things to say about it. Is it possible to have gay vacation in Tasmania? I heard that the community has come a long way and that now gay tourists are also welcome there. Is that true?

Yes, you have heard the right information. You can enjoy your visit to Tasmania to the fullest. There is a network of gay-friendly/owned hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfast places in Tasmania. Also, there are small lesbian and gay communities in Launceston and Hobart. There are really good restaurants and cafes in Hobart. I suggest you don’t miss Saturdays Salamanca markets. It is something special, believe me.
