I'm planning a nice trip to Mackay for my wife and me. We are planning to spend one week there or more. I am looking for a place with nice rooms, beach, swimming pool and good food. I heard of Ocean Resort village in Mackay-what do you think of it? Any suggestion is welcome.

Well, you are on the right track. It is just few minutes away from the city heart. It is also the gateway to the Whitsunday islands. They have really wonderful, lush tropical gardens where you can relax and enjoy your time together. By the way, Ocean Resort Village is the most awarded resort in Mackay (the winner of the 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000 Mackay Tourism Awards). This speaks for itself. I enjoyed every minute spent there.
