How far is Arica from Santiago? I’ll spend two weeks in Chile and First I’ll go to Santiago, its capital and after that I’ll go to Arica to continue may vacation. I just don’t know what transportation to use for the journey between these two cities. I know that Chile is a country which spreads along the South American continent and this distance may not be so short.
I think that Chile extends along approximately 2700 kilometers which is pretty long as you can see. Arica is situated close to the Peruvian border and I thing that Santiago is situated somewhere in central parts of the country. But still, the distance may be significant for covering in car or bus. That is why I suggest you not to calculate the distance but to get yourself a plane ticket from Santiago to Arica and not spend too much time traveling. Still, I have read that the roads in Chile are pretty good and comparatively safe and if you are in the mood for a road trip, just hit the road. The distance between the two cities is about 1600 kilometers and I think that the decision will not be too hard to reach.
