Italy to Spain?

Hi. I am from Bulgaria and want to fly from Sofia to someplace in Italy, most likely Milan. Afterwards I would love to do a trip by train all the way from Italy to Spain. Are there any people who have done something similar? I would love to hear your thoughts on how this can best be achieved. I might travel on my own or perhaps find a travel buddy through the internet.

What a nice idea! You will see loads more than when you would fly, and you might meet some interesting people on the way, too. Milan would be a good starting point. Where in Spain do you want to go to? There are several high speed trains that you can use, in both Italy and on the way to Spain. Contact Tren Italia for the exact route. They can help you plan the whole trip.
