Dubai visa at airport?

Hello! Im traveling to Dubai next weekend and a friend of mine told me that I can have my visa when I arrive at the airport in Dubai. Is it true, because it would be great, and what is the procedure necessary for the application? And do I have to book hotel in advance?

Well, first of all, its important what your nationality is, because only several nationalities can enjoy this privilege. I dont know the exact list, but I guess that if youre English or American, you wont have to worry. Its best to contact the local authorities in Dubai for any further information. As for the hotel, I'm not sure but I think you do.
