Hi. I am a girl from the UK and I have decided to go backpacking in India all by myself. I know this can be dangerous so n preparation I am looking for ways to make it safer. Is there anyone here who has done this, especially females? What was it like for you? Any tips are more than welcome!

Hi. Traveling alone can be a great way of getting to know both yourself and the world. But be careful. Follow your instinct is the best tip I can give you. If something doesnt feel rights, chances are they really arent. Your instict is natures way of telling you get out! Always carry a mobile with you, as well as one of those rape alarms that starts making very loud noises when you press it.
