Huila Volcan eruption in La Plata

I was considering to spent the summer vacation in Bolivar for I have got some friends living there and I haven't seen them for years but few days ago I have heard there is some Huila volcano near some region called La Plata that has erupted recently. Anyway I wanted to hear whether this Hulia Vulcan eruption in La Plata means that there could happened some further eruptions in periods to come and should I quit going to Colombia this summer for this Huila Volcan eruption? Thanks!

No I don't think so –why shouldn't be going there despite this Huila volcano eruption possibility again and no matter the fact that Bolivar is pretty much close to Huila volcano I think for they are more likely there to recognize some further seismic and volcano eruption activities so you could be evacuated on time at least for the last eruption happened in the mid of April and though there is still some lava coming out of there everything is kept under control as far as I am familiar with it –for I have some cousins living there in Bogota and they even went to witness these eruption days after. And still this La Plata region I think you have misjudged for some other region for the only La Plata I know of is actually the suburb of Buenos Aires in Argentina and as far as I know there is no volcano related to La Plata region just this one in Colombia.
