When Does Heat Wave Occur in Alaska?

Hi! I might say Im a bit worried about the heat wave. Well, not a bit, but a lot. Im planning to live there for few years and I just dont know what to expect. Im very fond of the wild life and nature, but what can I personally do to make things better? Thanks.

Well, there are some small things you can do. Make sure how your air-conditioning system works and try to make smaller amounts of home garbage. Alaska is a beautiful land, but the heating global problem affected it too. Bears and seals are the first to suffer, glaciers are melting and storms became more powerful than ever. Its just our civilization mark.
