Hello, there. I am planning a vacation to NZ and AU. I cant make up my mind how much money I should bring. It would be easier to bring debit card than to bring cash. I dont know, however, anything about debit card acceptance in those places. I was hoping to get some information here. I would appreciate that a lot.

Hello to you too. Well you dont need to worry. Considering that matter I think NZ and AU are like the rest European countries. I have even heard that New Zealanders use more cards than in some European countries. They even have terminals in small shops where you wouldnt expect. The main cards that are being used are Visa and Mastercard. If you have one of them, you shouldnt worry. But, it is better to contact your local bank. I am sure that they will give you the exact information you need. I wish you a safe trip. Good luck!
