How to come from Nampula to Inhambane?

Does anybody know how to come from Nampula to Inhambane. I am about to spent some time in Mozambique and first 2 weeks I will be staying at some house in Nampula –I will be working there as an voluntary medical stuff anyway pretty soon after I am about to spent some time-more than a month in Inhambane I think it is the main city of the Mozambique province of the same name and anyway I am curious how to come from Nampula to Inhamane –is there any direct flight actually.

I live for months now in Inhambane and first I actually stayed in Vilanculos and as far as I know the only local flights here in Mozambique available at this moment are just between those two cities but yet again if you work with some humanitarian organizations I know there is a possibility to have some helicopter flight from Nampula to Inhambane but I suppose it would take too much of time for landing there. anyway I don't know for some other opt like train or something else but I know some people here traveled from far north up to the Inhambane so I suppose there is some local bus there you can catch in Nampula to Inhambane.
