Last year I was traveling through New Hampshire and Maine I was stunned by the beauty of the nature there. Now Im on vacation and Im planning a visit to White mountains and Lake region. My wife and kids are also coming with me and Id like to know what fun activities this region offers. I hope they wont be bored, because my wife would keep on nagging all the time.

Dont get upset! If your kids and wife are nature lovers theyll be thrilled. The White Mountains and Lake Region are widely known as being perfect for family vacations. You can visit one of several amusement parks and take your kids fishing or canoeing. Picnic at some of the locations on the White Mountains with breathtaking views will surely be a great way to spend a day. You can relax playing golf at Jack O Lantern or The Maplewood Golf Club courses. The area also has significant historic sites and your kids can learn something about the past of our country. Unfortunately, you wont see the Old Man of the Mountain, a naturally shaped sculpture, which collapsed in 2003.
