Hello, folks. I will travel to Japan next week. Since I will spend there some time, I would like to visit some beaches in Japan. I come from California and I am used to spending a lot of time on the beach and near the ocean. I hope it will be the similar case in Japan. Thanks for your answers. Bye!

Hello, there. Japan is a wonderful country. Except as a land of the rising sun, it is also known by its beaches. It is pity that you havent mentioned the city or the area where you will be settled. But, never mind. Ill try to give you few suggestions. In Hyogo Prefect you have Takenohama, Ura Prefectural Sun Beach, Ohama and Keino-Matsubara. In Wakayama Prefect there are Hashikui, Nachi, Kataonami, Shirarahama, and Namihaya. In Shiga Prefect, the best beach would be Makino Sunny Beach and in Atashika in Mie Prefect it would be Goza-Shirahama. You have also Wakasa-Wada. It is in Fukui Prefect. I hope youll find the beach that suits you most.
