I will be in Sydney for couple of months, on a short business trip. I guess all working people know that weekends are most welcomed and how we are all impatiently waiting for them to come. I guess I am just one of them from that crowd. I love water and I would like to have some small tour during the weekend, if there is some available. So I wonder what kind of ferry departures I could catch on Saturday afternoon from SYD, for start but I am opened for any other suggestion.

Ah I completely understand you there, mate. I am insanely impatient during the Friday, waiting for my working week to get finished. There are some departures available although as far as I know most of the ports somehow not working during weekend days, which I find a bit weird. Well having two small kids then it is expectable that I could only tell and suggest you ferry departure from the Circular Quay (Sydney Cove) Bay to Taronga Zoo. This one is available every day from Monday to Sunday on every 30 minutes.
