Hi. I have to travel to Cape Town due to having business there, but to be honest I have to admit that I am afraid of going. I hear it is one of the most dangerous places in the whole world. I am a woman and I am extra concerned because of this. What should I do to protect myself?

Yes, Cape Town is a dangerous place and you do have to take care care about your safety. Don't walk the streets alone, in any case. Find a reliable driver before you go, who you know to be trustworthy. Never stop at the traffic lights as there are gangs of muggers hanging around.
