Hi! I am going to Greece in May. Now, I am making a plan for every day I will spend there. I will take a flight to Athens and stayed in a hotel near the airport. One of days I plan to spend in Delphi, famous historical place. Is it wise to rent a car for that occasion and drive from Athens to Delphi? Thank you for your advice!

| The distance between those places is about 180 kilometers far from the centre of Athens. It would be a long drive. The road is OK, but I suggest you to take an organized tour to Delphi. That is most popular archaelogical site of Greece and it is much better to go there with an organized group and guide. If you decide to rent a car, choose an agency that have office at the airport. |

| It's not that expensive to rent a car in Greece, it's actually affordable. I am not sure about Athens-Delphi relation but I did rent a car when in Chalkidiki and it helped us heaps to see around. |
