Alone in Manhattan on Christmas Day ?

Hello, almost all of my Christmases I have spent together with my family. Now that Ive started my studies right here in Manhattan I dont have the time to travel all the way back to Chicago for holidays. I am so horrified from the fact that I just might spend this Christmas all alone. What can a single person do in Manhattan on Christmas Day?

Hello, I know that being away from your family during holidays can be difficult but dont worry I will give you some advice on how to fulfill your time here in Manhattan on Christmas Day. First of all, most of the shops in Manhattan work full working hours even on Christmas Day. This is the perfect opportunity to take a walk through the most popular avenues here and gaze at the beautifully decorated shops. You can also pick out a few presents for your loved ones. In Manhattan there are always lots of people outside contributing to the Christmas spirit so you will never feel alone even if you are. You can also go to a church and listen to the joyful choirs. During Christmas Manhattan treats everybody like family.
