I will have a flight within few days from Tanzania to Pemba –I am traveling there for business but after few days I am supposed to reach Maputo for business also. anyway I am curious to hear if there is any train there from Pemba to Maputo for I love traveling by train and I never visited Mozambique before so maybe this trip from Pemba to Maputo would be a great chance to see the country.

Are you going alone? For if I were you I would never go alone from Pemba to Maputo by train these days and the trip is long you know you would have to pass from the very north to the very south of the country to reach Maputo by the train and if you ask me the trains there are not that much safe especially if you are a stranger but still there are some frequent train trips from Pemba to Maputo each day I guess and get prepared to have a long trip. Anyway you still have a direct Pemba to Maputo flight opt there each day.
