I think that there are some differences between the first-business and economy class. In the first-business class you may take two pieces of hand baggage on board, and in economy class just one piece of hand baggage is allowed, as far as I know. When we were traveling with Lufthansa’s first class I remember that we’ve put one piece under the seat in front of us, and one above our heads. However, you should check for differences between countries, but I think that the pieces of hand baggage allowed are more or less the same for every airline.
