Hello, my girlfriend and I are planning on going to France in a week or so. We would like to stay in Paris for a short period of time and then fly to Cannes to see the Cannes Film Festival. Unfortunately, we will not have much time to spend exploring Paris so we are wondering if we will be able to visit all the major sites during our short stay.

Hello, Paris is well known for it's many beautiful and romantic sites to see. All major attractions for tourists to visit are located within the walking distance. I would recommend booking a hotel near the Eiffel Tower or the Arc de Triomphe, which are considered to be national symbols. From there, you will easily be able to reach some of the other famous places to visit while in Paris. These would most probably be The Louvre Museum with it's great collection of different artworks such as the Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo; The Orsay Museum with it's huge art and painting collections; The Notre Dame Cathedral built in a Gothic style; The Luxembourg Gardens which are located near the Luxembourg Palace and have many beautiful sculptures along with some ponds to enjoy.
