I need some Nyungwe forest info before I reach Kigali in Rwanda –Kigali is the destination I would spend next 2 years I would actually be working there in some medical center. The thing is that I am curious to visit the country all around and I have heard that Nyungwe forest could be just exciting experience I search now for some Nyungwe forest info. Thanks!
Nyungwe forest is National park and is a protected area located in southwest of Rwanda just near Lake Kivu. Anyway you may have a flight from Kigali to Kibuye and from there it is easy to reach Nyungwe forest. Forest is rich in very different animal and plant species and there are about 250 bird species of all kinds and there you may see chimpanzees. And as for the vegetation and some animal forms many of tem are endemic so are not about to be seen in any other part on Earth. I have also heard there are even some reptile’s species in Nyungwe forest though I haven’t managed to see any.
