Well, the only problem will be the travel itself – the flight. I don’t know where you are coming from, but if you are not from Africa, any destination other than Africa is pretty long for a six month-old baby. I hope the baby will endure the flight without some side-effects. As soon as you come to Cape Verde, you can stop worrying about the baby. The white sand beaches and the warm sea-water will be great for your son or daughter. The climate at Cape Verde is mild. I can’t tell precisely which period is considered the high season in Cape Verde, but if you heard that it is March thru June, you can start packing your things.
