I am going to Crete and I'd like to visit Samaria Gorge. Actually, I wanna make a walking tour in Samaria Gorge. Can you tell me is such tours are made in Samaria Gorge? I need as amny details about great walking tour in Samaria Gorge as possible. Has anyone been there? What is it like? I am going to visit some other places in Crete, too.

Crete is one of the most beautiful Greek islands. There are a few things that make this island very appealing to tourists - Samaria Gorge is one of them. It is a national park which bring thousands of tourists to Crete every year. I think there are organized tours in Samaria Gorge. Since you are interested in Great walking tour, you have to apply for a longer tour. There are shorter and longer tours. Did you kinow that Samaria Gorge is the longest gorge in Europe. There are a lot of different species in the park. The walking through the gorge is very difficult because you walk through the stones.
