| Hello everybody, Im about to visit one of the most famous national parks in Costa Rica, Piedras Blancas National Park. Im planning in detail how the whole trip will look like. Ill sure go by bus over Pan American highway to Palmar Sur, where I intend to spend few days. Actually, I've heard that its a wonderful place, a river town and I find all towns with rivers running trough very attractive, but I dont know what next. How could I get to the Park? |

| Im greeting your intention to stay in Palmar Sur for a couple of days. You can have a rest and than you can go directly to Piedras Blancas. Actually, I cant tell you 100 accurately how you can get to the National park, because I was only in Palmar Sur but there was a group of people in my hotel who were about to visit Piedras Blancas. I think that there are some mini buses by which you could go to La Gamba, a small village about 20 miles away from Palmar Sur. Im really not sure but that village is probably something like gateway to the Park since you can arrive there on foot. I left hotel when those people were on their way back, so I dont have the information at first hand. Sorry about that, still, I think I gave you the right directions. |
