During my trip to Australia, which will be taking place this year, I am considering to travel to this famous magnetic island to go and do some diving, which is after all what the place is known for! Have you been there yourself, and what are your thoughts? How easy or difficult is it to get there?

You have to get in by ferry there are two main services which both run regular. The first is Sunferries, and the second is Magnetic Island Passenger & Car Ferry. These ferry crossing service both run from the Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal in Townsville. This place has an airport so there will be no problem in getting there.
