What do you think about Universal Hotels like 4 Seasons, Mariot, Hilton, etc?

This will be quite a plain thread, thinking to talk and exchange opinions about universally known hotels like 4 Seasons, Marriott, Hilton, etc. Have you ever stayed in any of them? Are they worth as much as they are charging? I am planning to go to the Marriott Hotel in Sydney, I expect great service. But I know that there were some complains even about these Universal Hotels. Share your opinions.

Well I was in 4 Season in Hong Kong, and hmm I am not so sure that it was worth that price. I waited 40 minutes for the sandwich and very often my room wasnt made up when on my return. I know maybe I am acting spoiled, but I just think that for that price service suppose to be superb and flawless. I wont be expecting much if they werent bragging how the best they are and if they dont charge for everything that much. I am planning next time to go some place else, even with worse service because in general I think that some hotels are just being overrated. I know that luxurious ones should exist for celebrities and their enormous needs, but I just think that Universal Hotels are just too expensive. BTW that was my first and only time I was in one of them.
