Did anybody see The Opera House in Yerevan?

Did anybody see the Opera House in Yerevan? I’m a student of music and I plan to visit this country as a tourist this year, but I surely intend to go and see everything related to music. I’d like to hear your impressions of the Opera House and whether you have seen some performance there. I’m really excited about my trip there.

All the former Soviet republics and parts of what used to be Russian Empire are famous for their rich musical heritage and culture. Though I’m not a professional musician I really love Russian and Armenian classical music and in my opinion in order to understand it better, you should go and see the places where it originated from. Now, I have seen Opera House in Yerevan, but only in photos. Its design is very beautiful but I haven’t seen the interiors. I know that there are regular performances and maybe you can find the schedule on the internet. I have read that this building was designed by a famous architect who wanted to in a way redesign the city and make it more appealing.
