What do you think about Algeri?

I am thinking on visiting this summer Northern Africa again and though I already was in Morocco and Egypt I thought to visit Algeria this time. So what do you think about Algeria? My wife refuses going there in Algeria with me for she is concerned over the safety there so what is it alike staying in Algeria these days?

Well staying in Algeria nowdays is pretty much safer than it was up to few years ago and though people are very much concerned about visiting Algeria I think it is pretty much safe going there lately. I was in Algeria last summer and I even had some short Sahara tour riding the camels even and anyway I stayed in Oran for about 10 days and I had a great time there, local people is just fine and so kind the sea is beautiful and the Mediterranean climate just fits me. I even visited the capital Algiers and I never felt unsecured not even per minute though I was not traveling alone –I was part of a tourist group and I just had a great time there in Algeria.

What do you think about Algeri?
