My friends are planning to visit Eastern Europe this year. They keep asking me to join them but I am bit reluctant since I don’t know much about that part of the world and I know that they had some problems in the past. Would you recommend traveling to Eastern Europe countries?

Yes, there are many nice places to see there. Some of the countries were ignored by many tourists before because they were behind Iron Curtain while the others suffered from the ravages of war during 90’s. It is all now in the past and you can enjoy many cultural, historical and natural attractions those countries boast with. I have been there several times and am planning more trips in the future.

Eastern Europe is cool. I've been to Serbia, Novi Sad to this amazing music festival called "Exit" and then I went down to Croatia to Dubrovnik for some sun and amazing Mediterranean sea. Not that there wasn't sun in Serbia, it's just that I love the sea and there's only The Danube in Novi Sad with a cool beach but I'm not much of the river person.
