How much money to bring in Columbia?

Hi! I am traveling to Columbia together with my sister. She will participate at a congress and doesn’t want to be all alone there. I am a little bit afraid of that country and I know it is full of criminal. What is your suggestion about the money? How much to bring there? I don’t want to be attacked because of money!

There is no so much crime in the streets of Columbia. Nobody will attack you in the middle of the day. And after all, how can somebody know if you have much money with you? If you will feel safer bring credit cards. They are suitable in big cities. And once again, don’t worry, if you behave normally, nobody will attack you.
