I am off to Hong Kong next month to visit a good friend who has moved there recently. I am very exited, not only to see my friend again but also as Hong Kong will be the starting point for a longer trip through China. I hope you can help me plan. How to get in Guangzhou from Hong Kong?

There is only one thing for it and that is to go by train. There are also bus services available but these take and besides that they are uncomfortable and not always clean. The train is on the other hand reliable and effective, and you will be there in no time. Good luck and enjoy your trip.
