Will we see Maya temples on Belize holiday?

Hi everyone! We are currently considering where to go on holiday this year. While I had Mexico in mind, especially because of their Mayan temples and other ruins, my husband has now suggested Belize. He says there are Mayan temples over there too. Is that right? At least I had never heard about this...

Indeed you can, if you choose to visit them. There are many Mayan ruins and monuments all over Belize, meaning that your husband is quite right. I am sure that you will enjoy trips to prominent ancient Mayan towns like Xunantunich. There is really more than enough to see and I think that Belize is a fine choice for a holiday.
