How much money is enough for Australia vacation?

I have a question that I hope you’ll be able to answer. You see I plan a trip to Australia with my kids. I have promised to take them there and now my financial situation is not quite brilliant but I don’t want to disappoint them. Can you tell me, at least approximately how much money is enough for Australian vacation?

I wish I could answer you but this is a complex issue. I don’t know how old your kids are or what you expect from your vacation. I guess that apart from plane tickets and the money necessary for accommodation you can bring to Australia the similar amount of money that you spend over the same period of time at home. That would probably mean you would have to refrain from spending too much money on various things like eating out, cafés or other pleasure activities, But at least you’re going to keep your promise. You can try to explain your kids that they won’t be able to get everything they want when you go to the vacation, but that they will have the opportunity to see Australia.
