Visiting historic Maya temples in Belize

My husband and I are going to be visiting Belize this summer and among other, more relaxing activities, we would also like to visit the famous Mayan Temples over there. This is really something I don't want to miss out on. Have you been to Belize and could you tell me any more about this? Thanks so much!

There are a great many different Mayan ruins and temples around Belize, and you will need to do a fair bit of travelling if you want to cover them all. Some of the most famous monuments are at Xunantunich (huge temple) and Caracol, where you will find the great Caana temple. I am sure you will have an unforgettable trip!
