| I am going to New Zealand in two weeks. I have four weeks at my disposal and I intend to make the most of my vacation. I will travel around, try to explore the country and meet interesting people. However, I intend to spend a great deal of time surfing. Where in New Zealand is the best surfing? |

| New Zealand is surfer’s paradise. There are so many places good for surfing so it is not easy to recommend one or two. I can suggest some places which, according to my surfing friend are really special for surfers. They are all on Coromandel peninsula: The Whangamata Bar, Waihi Beach (11 km east of Waihi), Tairua Beach (64 kms north of Waihi), Hot Water Beach (16 kms south of Whitianga) and Whangapoua Beach (16 kms east of Coromandel). Tairua Beach is his #1 place for surfing. |
