What shouldn't I miss in New Zealand?

I am going to New Zealand in three weeks. I will stay there for one week and then I will visit Australia and Papua New Guinea. After that I will return to New Zealand and spend another week there. What shouldn’t I miss in New Zealand? I would appreciate some suggestions and tips.

New Zealand is full of natural beauty like caves, glaciers and geysers. You have to see albatross colonies, fjords and many other things. Then, you should try some of the pleasures cities can offer. My list of must-to-see spots would look like this: Aoraki/Mt Cook, Franz Josef & Fox Glaciers, Mt Taranaki/Egmont, Otago Peninsula, Te Papa, Tongariro National Park, Ulva Island and Whanganui National Park.
