Is it wise to visit New Zealand in September?

My wife wants to go to New Zealand this year. I was thinking about some closer destination but then my curiosity got the better of me so I agreed. We plan to go there at the beginning of September. Is it wise to visit New Zealand in September? It is winter there at that time, isn’t it?

It is wise and nice to visit New Zealand in any month. It is a truly nice land and you won’t regret going there. I visited New Zealand in July and August but my friend stayed there during September and October. It was a pleasant trip for me, but my friend was even more delighted with the country. I suggest you take one of those tours like: Auckland - Waipoua Forest - Cape Reinga - Bay of Islands - Waitomo Caves - Rotorua – Taupo or Auckland - Coromandel Peninsula - Tauranga - (Rotorua) - Whakatane - White Island - East Cape - Gisborne - Napier - Hawke's Bay - Martinborough - Wellington - Blenheim - Marlborough wines - Kaikoura – Christchurch.
