Hiking in Syria is one of the things on the to do list and it is placed very high on the list. He told me that it is a lifetime experience and that I should definitely try it, but he was concern about my health and will I be able to make it. I had some heart problems back in the day, but I am fine now. Do you know somebody who was in Syria and wasnt of perfect health?

Hiking in Syria is not a beach walk I have to say and make sure you are quite clear about this fact. It doesnt sound serious and if you only had an idea how serious it really is. I made a mistake to believe that it is easy and that I dont need any special training. But you do. Dont even think about it if you get out of the breath after 5 min on treadmill. I was in perfect health two years ago when I did it and it nearly killed me. You have to be in good shape and you have to go with somebody who knows his way around. That is my suggestion.
