I am planning to travel to Tanzania at the end of this month, so I was hoping I get to plan my hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro. I would also like to take a short safari trip. Could any of you share some tips about the photographic equipment or location while hiking? Or any other tips about the subject?

This is a good time to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, cause there is still a bit of the snow cover. My advice is to that you MUST have guides and porters. As the camera equipment, I am only an amateur, so I was carrying only one with 25-90 lens and it worked just fine. The good locations are Serengeti and Ngorongoro, try them out!
